   Try the new sd loader at http://www.kitty-corp.co.cc/ and see if that works
   put them in \private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\sound\strm\filename.brstm

   Yeah, you can do it with the SD Card code.

   @Pinutk

   To do so, make a folder called pf in the Private > Wii > App > RSBE path. Then, create a folder called music, put your songs there. You have to rename it to what the original music is called. Example: K01.brstm (I think that’s one of the names, forgot).

    The Mp3s are meant to be a preview of the songs so you can listen to them if you don’t have Winamp before you put them in your game.

    They’ve been trimmed to 20-30 seconds and reduced to a 64kbps mono file so the download size isn’t huge

    If you want the entire soundtrack download the .brstm files

    I am trying to replace Scrap Brain Zone on Green Hill Zone with Knight of the Wind. Do I have to extract the original Scrap Brain Zone and replace it? I’m gonna go test it out now! Oh and if anyone has the His World from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) can you give me the brstm plz.

    You just replace the song with the song you downloaded, which is U02.brstm located in songs > brstm.

    After PF is what screws me up. it hought it was private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/sound/strm/-insert files-

    That’s not what you have to do…

    You can’t use the SD Loader for songs. They aren’t loaded like textures.

    it’s lz77 compressed so you’ll have to use gbalzss or lz77ex to decompress it (i suggest you use the first unless you like waiting for 3 minutes) from there just use ssbextract like you would any other normal archive

    Care to chill out a bit? It’s a MASSIVE breakthrough. It’s almost as exciting (if not more exciting) as when SD loading for textures was created. If it annoys you, you obviously have issues with advancements. I can understand you not caring, but when it bothers you that people are commenting about it, that’s when you should stop using the internet for a while.

    Personally, when something bothers me, I just tend to ignore it. So, just ignore people commenting or posting about it. It’s not that big of a deal.

    go to your pf folder and make a folder called Sound. then in that make one called strm NOT brstrm. put the songs in there. u gotta re name it to XXX.brstrm tho. XXX is the music number, theres a list @ nintendo bros. and no its not permanent. ^_^

    gah, why do I have to be on vacation, now would be a good time to finish tagging and updating my brstms.

    Also, when I get back I’ll release my fully automated brstm converter; it features:

    Converts most audio formats to brstm format
    Batch conversion
    Single file conversion
    Drag-and-drop conversion
    Choice of stereo/mono
    Choice of loop/no loop
    Handles loop points automaticly or lets you manualy enter loop points
    Fixes loop points so the start loop point is a multiple of 14336

    Conversion from .wav/.mp3/.m4a/.adx/whatever will usually take as long as it takes to decompress the audio file, and convert 2 wav files to dsp (If you’re doing stereo). Add 5-15 secs to that total (the exact amount depends on your settings) and that’s how long it will take to make the brstm. Naturally longer songs will take longer to convert

     Genesis Sonic songs, and the Punch-Out Wii OST. So far, I’ve only seen a couple of the Sonic songs and only 1 Punch-Out song.

     Actually, I finally made a song. But the problem is, my method of doing it does not allow custom loops, only automatic through the whole song. So, that means I can’t do the Sonic genesis songs, but I’ll take care of Punch-Out.

     Hey people, I don’t know how many of you have gone through this, but after shoving the SA2 soundtrack on Brawl + over nine thousa- I mean, around 60 textures, I ocasionally suffer from random crashing, by that I mean that the game doesn’t crash on determinate ocassions; No crash is able to be reproduced.

     That’s the SD Loader’s fault. I had that same problem when testing v3.5 of the loader. If you want a completely stable game you’re going to have to use wiiscrubber and burn a disc or use a usb loader unless there’s some secret i don’t know about

     They don’t come as .brstm when i rip them from the isos, they’re all different formats. I have to convert them to brstm like any normal file

     Pretty much all the soundtracks have proper loop points, the only ones that don’t are the Metroids, Sonic Heroes and The World Ends With You
     I knew the Metroids didn’t, I was going to reconvert them with proper loop points when I got around to tagging them. The converter I’m using automatically fixes the loop points so when I make a brstm it’s already done.
     I forgot about Sonic Heroes and The World Ends With You, I guess I’ll fix them tomorrow.

     And I didn’t think anyone would actually care about the 14336 rule as you called it. I thought that when I mentioned it in a comment on this site once that people would just be like <obnoxious voice>EWW, loop multiples of 14336? How am i supposed to do that? It’s too much work</obnoxious voice> but i guess not

     Oh, Moosehunter! I’ve ripped a couple games, but I can’t seem to get the music off of them. Punch-Out just has a bunch of unusable wav files, and Animal Crossing has nearly no usable music (Just one brstm file, no other music at all). Also, when ripping Sonic Mega Collection, I just got a bunch of roms that are all .dat format. Any help here?

     But it doesn’t do m4a’s. (However, it does convert practically any other format you can think of including formats like brstm and adx) I sacrificed not being able to convert m4a’s for not having to have goldwave installed and making it faster

     moosehunter, I’ve run into a little problem on the music site. Every time I try to add a new song from a game that’s not already on the list I go to the pending songs list and find out that the game of origin is missing from the entry. I even edited the entry to add It and It still didn’t show up. Could you fix this please?

     Oh, And thank you very much for doing my requests. And in a much more timely manner than I expected too.

     Fixed, I had reached the maximum number of games, so I had to increase the limit

     Its like you learn my mind! You appear to understand a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few % to power the message house a little bit, however other than that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I will definitely be back.
